My apartment sounds like it’s in a tornado right now – the Windy City is certainly living up to its reputation today. Constant 30 mph winds, gusting to 50. That’s just what’s being registered at ground level…I’m 7 stories (~80 ft) up, and I think it may be a touch stronger here. So much for that bike ride I was planning on doing this afternoon. Actually, looking at the local weather, the next few days aren’t looking too good either. Probably just hit the elliptical trainer instead.
Went to a surprise b-day party for a friend of mine at work last night – had a good time and my fair share of drink. We must all be getting old though – we finished our last round at midnight, and that was about enough for me. These 2-3am nights just aren’t working for me anymore.
